Arthur Wampler

Arthur J. Wampler  82, of Montgomery, IL. at rest January 16, 2013 at Rush Copley Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Dixie for 47 years, loving father of Cindy (the late George) Kepka and Mike (Anna) Wampler. Dear brother of Donna (the late Albert) Wolff, the late Arlene (the late Paul) Wicks and the late Rogene (Raynard) Jones and  brother-in-law of John Green.  Cherished grandfather of Kimber (Jeff) Wright, Michael ,Ryan, Jamie (Miranda) Wampler, Gregory and Geoffrey Kepka, great grandfather of Baylee and Tyson. He is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Art was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and survived during the Korean War. He retired as department mgr. from Equipto after over 30 years of service. Art loved gardening, fishing and spending time with his loving family and friends and also enjoyed his time with The Silver Sneakers. He will always be remembered for his kind and generous heart and will be missed by all. Family is receiving guests Saturday January 19, 2013 from 10:00 AM until the time of his Funeral Service 12:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 Broadway Montgomery, IL. Interment Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery Aurora, IL.
