Gladys Dokken

Gladys Dokken, 81, of Aurora passed away at home on Friday, April 4, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was born on April 28, 1932 in Eagle Grove, Iowa; a daughter to the late Morris and Lucille (Bonner) Christian. Gladys worked at Barber Greene for many years. She loved dancing, was a fan of Elvis and she was a fun loving woman who loved life and refused to grow up. Her family members include her children: Dean (Cindy) Dokken, Christine (Bob) Thomas, Elizabeth (Bill) Johns, Pamela (Joe) Serio, Joseph Dokken, Patricia (Karl) Flondor; thirty-one grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; her brother: Jerry Christian and many loving nieces, nephews, friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Carl Dokken in 2012; four brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Family receiving guests Wednesday from 3:00 until 9:00PM at the funeral home in Montgomery.
