Inez Payne

Inez Payne “Mamaw”, 92, of Oswego passed away surrounded by her family on April 16, 2014. She was born on December 2, 1921 in Soddy-Daisy, TN the daughter of John and Ila (Crawley) Penney. She had a passion for gardening, bird watching, camping and read her Bible religiously. She is survived by her daughters; Patricia LaFlame, Ada Prause, Rose (Tony) Urso and Vivian Payne, daughter-in-law Frances Payne, 1 brother and 1 sister, 11 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hobart, son John Payne, daughter Shirley Strutzel, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and great-granddaughter Tiffany Urso.
Family will be receiving guests on Friday April 18, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral service will be on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 9:00 AM at Dieterle Memorial Home. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora, IL.
