Isabella S. Erickson, 12, of Montgomery passed away suddenly on July 4, 2015 from injuries sustained in an ATV accident. She was born on November 16, 2002, the beautiful daughter of John and Anya (Limbaugh) Erickson. She was a bright spirit that loved life and lived it to the fullest. Isabella was artistic in every sense of the word; she loved drawing, sculpting with clay, listening to music, and loved watching YouTube videos on how to do various hair styles. She was a member of Wheatland Salem UMC Church in Naperville where she was involved in youth group. She was devout in her faith and loved praying and talking about God and was taught to pray for her enemies as well as her friends.  Isabella would be entering 7th grade at Plank Junior High in the fall, it is there where she made countless friends. She was also a member of Girl Scout Troop 4686. Her passing has left a void and she will be eternally missed but her spirit will live on in each of the lives she touched.
She is survived by her parents John and Anya Erickson, maternal grandparents Ben and Carla Limbaugh, paternal grandparents Arleigh and Pamela Erickson, aunts and uncles; Walter, Letha and Matthew Limbaugh and Karen(Kevin) McManis. She is also survived by special great uncle and aunt Phil and Missy Huber, whom she was visiting the past 2 weeks and Godparents Vernon and Tina Huber as well as many great aunts and uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 12, from 2:00 to 7:00 with Rosary recited at 1:30 at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Avenue, Montgomery, IL. Funeral service will be on Monday, July 13th at 10:00 AM at Dieterle Memorial Home with interment following at Spring Lake Cemetery.  In Isabella’s honor the family is asking you to join them in wearing Tie Dye, she especially loved it.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the family for a memorial that will be established.
