Brandon Slatton

     Brandon Lee Slatton, 32, of Aurora, IL passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Season’s Hospice in Naperville, IL surrounded by his loving family.  He was born May 10, 1985 in Pocatello, Idaho, the son of Vernon and Paula (Jackson) Slatton.    He was a Damage Controlman, Petty Officer First Class of the United States Navy for 12 years . He had a great love for his family and taking trips on his motorcycle, but he was most passionate about having a lifetime career as member of the United States Navy.  He is survived by his wife,  Jennifer Slatton; son Gene  and daughter, Emilyn  all of Aurora; his father and step-mom, Vernon (Gail Van Winkel) Slatton; his mother Paula Allison and step father Ed Allison.;  brother, Nathan Slatton; sister, Anna (Glenn) Anderson and step-sister, Danielle Van Winkel.  Family will be receiving guests Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery, IL.  Funeral Service will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 16, 2017 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church 1233 Douglas Road Montgomery, IL.
