Carol Mae Johnson

Carol Mae Johnson (Schoberlein), 86, of Aurora passed away on June 9, 2017. She was born on September 6, 1930 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Henry and Mae (Hankes) Schoberlein. She was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aurora.

She is survived by her sisters-in law; Carmen (Larry) Briggs and Sandy Johnson; grandsons, Christopher and Tyler Johnson; special friend, Duane Kleckner as well as nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wally, son, Christopher and brother-in-law R. Allan Johnson.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, corner of Douglas and Montgomery Rds., Montgomery, IL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to St. Paul Lutheran Church or to the charity of your choice.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Jennings Terrace and Rainbow Hospice for the compassion and care that was given to her.
