Daniel Comstock

Daniel Mark Comstock, 52, lifelong resident of Aurora, IL was called home to our Heavenly Father, peacefully surrounded by his family on October 31, 2017.  He was born on April 7, 1965, devoted and loving son of Rosemary A. Comstock.  Dan began his career at Tellabs as a Test Engineer, achieved Lead Program Manager.  Dan had his own successful janitorial business, he was proud and dedicated to his clients.  His passion and love was being “Coach Dan”, being a Manager for teams at Aurora Boys Baseball for 26 years, where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011.  His favorite past time was talking about the Cubs, Bears, baseball, pizza, playing piano and the love of his family. Dan is survived by his mother,  Rosemary A. Comstock of Sycamore; his wife, Laurie Saul of Aurora; 1 son, Joshua Comstock; stepson, Casey Ratliff of Aurora, 1 sister, Linda (John) Berry of Lilburn, GA; 2 brothers, Albert (Diana Rodriguez) Gonzalez of Goodyear, AZ and David Comstock of  Sycamore; sister-in-law,  Lori Harkins of Sycamore and several nieces and nephews. Family will be receiving guests Friday, November 3, 2017 from 4:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S.
