Edna A. Mangers "Bunky"

Edna A. “Bunky” Mangers, 80, of Seneca and formerly Aurora, passed away on January 30, 2018. She was born on July 11, 1937 in Dekalb, IL the daughter of Claud and Juanita (Ferguson) Leedom. Bunky was a cook at the Eagles Club, Tiger Club, 3rd Ward Club and other area clubs. She owned and operated Bunky’s Club in Seneca for many years as well. She loved life and lived it to the fullest, her glass was always full. She also had a passion for gardening.

She is survived by her longtime companion; John Bazan, children, Vicky and Charles Mangers; grandchildren, Branden (Janie Murphy) Mangers and Cory, Latisha, Samantha, and Rebecca Mangers, siblings; Betty Lou Laurie, Diana Davis, Pat Rogers,  Bob Leedom and Clyde Leedom. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and countless friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband William Mangers, 2 sons, David in infancy and Johnny Mangers and 1 daughter Lori Mangers and  1 brother Claude Leedom.

Family will be receiving guests on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora, IL.
