Jose Luis Iniguez "Guero"

Jose Luis “Guero” Iniguez , 70, of Aurora passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 21, 2017. He was born on March 19, 1947 in Durango, Mexico and raised in Mexico City, the son of Angel and Maria (Navarro) Iniguez. In 2002 he retired from Nabisco after 31 years of service, he had many good years and met great friends along the way. For nearly 30 years he was the head referee coordinator for the United Soccer Association where he worked closely with his brother-in-law Frank Navarro. He loved traveling, dancing and spending time with his friends, but above all things in life, he enjoyed his family dearly and especially loved his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Pilar; children, Alejandro (Ana) Iniguez, Daniel (Erika) Iniguez, Violeta (Alejandro) Flores and Eduardo (Maria E.) Iniguez; grandchildren,  Alejandro, Ricky, Rebeka L., Katie M., Emiliano, Giselle L., Eduardo J., and Lorenzo A.; step-children, Daniela, Pilar, and Paulina Rangel; step-grandchildren, Dorian, Daniel, Arturo, Sophia, Luna, Hristo and Miguel Angel; siblings, Victor (Maria) Iniguez, Alicia (Saul) Salgado, Gloria Iniguez, Miguel Angel(Celia) Iniguez, Blanca Estela Chavez and brother-in-law David Pasten as well as his mother-in-law Maria Navarro, the entire Navarro family and many loving nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Maria Luisa, son Ricardo Iniguez and sister Lourdes Pasten. Family will be receiving guests on Monday, June 26, 2017 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, June 27th at 10:30 AM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church 925 Sard Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Aurora, IL.
