Joyce D. Bahe

Joyce D. Bahe, 96 passed away at her home April 24, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 6, 1927 in St. Cloud Minnesota; daughter of Charles and Edna (Gibson) Hawkins.  She was employed in customer service in the food industry for over 30 years; 2 of the major stores were Kresges and Kmart. Joyce was a lifelong member of Bethany of Fox Valley Methodist Church where she devoted a lot of her time in participating in church functions. She enjoyed knitting, crochet but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Joyce is survived by her son Charles (Kathleen), 4 grandchildren; Ginger King, Keith, Charles III and Dawn Bunker and her 2 loving dogs Snoopy and Stella. 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 62 years Ralph, a son Raymond, 4 sisters; Helen (the late Howard) Bates, Hazel, Georgia Lee ( the late William) Sergeant and Ruth (the late Arthur) Zizmer.  A brother Benjamin (Jane) and 3 dogs; Bear, Ollie and Dulce. A celebration of Joyce’s life will take place Tuesday May 14th 2024 at 10;30am at Bethany of Fox Valley Methodist Church 2200 Ridge Avenue in Aurora.
