Bonnie, my prayers are with you and the entire family of Ken Christy. I met Ken many years ago while I was a carrier from Branch 11 Chicago. At conventions I had lots of questions which Ken patiently answered teaching me all about Unionism. I am truly grateful to have known Ken. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom and knowledge with me Ken. I would also like to thank his family for sharing Ken with the NALC for so many years.May the Lord continue to comfort you in this hour of sorrow. God bless you family. Joye Williams Branch 825.
My condolences to the Christy Family. Thank you for sharing Ken with all his union brothers and sisters. He will remain an inspiration to us all!

I first met Ken at a Democratic meeting in Aurora. He smiled so brightly I felt a peace with this man. He did what he said he would do a very honorable man . He was respected by every person that I talked to . I'm proud to. Call him a friend. Gods speed to you my friend. Ed and Cheri Nendick
I am so sad to hear this news...Ken was a wonderful friend and always smiling. He was smart as a whip, passionate and a truly caring person that loved his family and his colleagues. He walked the walk which is do rare and I will miss him

Ken (and Bonnie) were very dear friends of mine in HS. We were in the orchestra together. Ken played Bass, Bonnie, Connie (twin) and I were on the violins. I was a bridesmaid at Ken and Bonnie's wedding. We shared a lot of fun times. In 1973 my husband and I moved to Colorado and we lost touch. I was happy to pick up with their lives again through FB. Ken will be remember as a man of integrity, a helping hand, a follower of Jesus Christ and a friend to many. He will be missed. RIP dear friend.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will never forget the White Sox game that I went to with Ken, his wife Kristin & Michael. I've never seen someone go from being miserable to ectastic when the Sox got beat in the 14th inning. Definitely a true Cubs fan. He will be missed.
There are so many of and i and the union and of a lot of friendships together i cant just pick out one. we had a lot of good times at union meetings, state conventions and national conventions. he backed for treasure and also appointed me liaison for the 14th congressional district. that made me proud that he had a lot of confidence in me. we were all business, we had a lot of laughs along the way. i will have a lot of memories and you cant take those away. prayers to Bonnie and the 3 girls as well as the rest of the family.
