Manuel Rangel, Jr.

Manuel Rangel, Jr., 79, of Oswego, IL passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born November 10, 1937 in Pharr, Texas, the son of Manuel and Selica (Sierra) Rangel, Sr.   He was a Construction Superintendent at Michael Nicholas, Inc.   His hobbies were woodworking especially making furniture.  He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda; 5 daughter, Susan (Dan) Siegler of MN, Selica (Albert) Kahlfeldt of WI, Juanita Rangel of Oswego, IL, Herlinda Rangel of Oswego, IL and Griselda Wester of Montgomery, IL; 6 grandchildren; and his siblings, Esperanza (the late Frank) Martell, Mary (Angel) Balderas, Serapio (Hortencia) Rangel, Noemi (the late Radamas) Gonzales, Erminia (Benito) Barraza, Robert (Cindy) Rangel,  Arthuro Rangel, Jesse (Pam) Rangel and Minerva (Victor) Sanchez; and his sister-in-law, Celia Rangel.    Manuel was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Rojelio Rangel.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S.
