Raymond Delano Balc

Raymond D. Balc, 79, of Batavia, passed away Thursday April 25, 2024 at Michealson Health Center in Batavia. He was born April 12, 1945 in Chicago; son of Alexander Sr. and Florence (Timok) Balc. Ray proudly served in The United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was based in Da Nang; the largest city in central Vietnam. During his time in the Navy, Ray achieved the rank of E4 and received several medals including the bronze star. He was employed as an assemblyman in a manufacturing warehouse for many years. Ray is survived by 2 brothers; Alexander Balc Jr. (Kathy), Wendell (Barbara) and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents.
