Richard "Rick" Enright

After a brief and courageous battle with cancer, Richard "Rick" Daniel Enright Jr., 65, of Aurora, IL was freed of his Earthly pain to be with Our Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 31, 2024. Loving husband of Connie for over 40 years. Devoted father of Jeremy (Katelyn) and Tiffany (Emmanuel). Beloved grandfather of Madolin Rose and Theo Daniel. Caring brother of Marty Enright (Estelle) and brother-in-law of Dale Brown (Barb) and Jennifer Enright. Proud uncle of Nicole, Danny, Katie, Courtney, and Colin. Adoring dog dad of Carter. Dear friend to many. He is reunited with his parents Richard Sr. and Garnet Enright, his brother Joel Enright, and his in-laws Dale Sr. and Marian Brown in Heaven.

Rick was a man of faith, who cherished his time spent with his Mens Bible Study group. He loved traveling and new experiences, but equally enjoyed time spent at home with his family, especially his two grandchildren. When he was not outside tending to his yard or landscape, you could find him relaxing on his patio with some good music and even better company. He looked forward to watching Pittsburgh Steelers games and tackling home improvement projects. Getaways with his wife were something he cherished; their favorite adventures were in California and Key West, Florida. Rick's contagious laugh will be dearly missed by his friends and family.

Rick built a legacy of success working with prestigious companies such as BP, RKA Petroleum, Luke Oil, and Mansfield Energy. He dedicated over ten years to working for Mansfield Energy, most recently serving as the Vice President of Sales Operations. Rick truly loved his job and accepted any challenge without hesitation. Along with his business achievements, Rick's mentoring shaped countless individuals, in his professional and personal life, embedding his wisdom deeply. His legacy endures, a testament to a life dedicated to growth, guidance, and generosity.

The family will be receiving guests on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 12:00 pm, until the time of service, at 2:00 pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 South Broadway Road Montgomery, IL 60538.
