Richard Sadowski

Richard P. Sadowski, 72, of Montgomery, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017, at St. Patrick’s Residence in Naperville.  He was born July 8, 1944, son of Carl and Francis (Tarsa) Sadowski. He retired from the CSX Railroad after 40 years of service as an Engineer. Rich loved handicapping the horses and enjoyed this year’s recent Belmont Stakes where he bet the winner. But most of all he loved his family and had a few good dogs. He is survived by 1 son, Michael (Mary), 1 daughter, Linda (Mark Wenz) and 5 grandchildren, Allison, Melanie, Grace, Lindsey and Miranda. He is preceded in Death by his parents and his loving wife of 29 years, Nancy. Family will be receiving guests on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery. Funeral Mass will be Friday, June 23, 2017, 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1329 Bellview Ave., Rockdale, IL.
