Rodolfo Jaquez

Rodolfo Jaquez, age 76, of Aurora, passed away at home on Saturday, October 14, 2017. He was born in Durango, Mexico on May 5, 1941, the son of Jesus and Dolores (Herrera) Jaquez. Rodolfo was retired from Lyon Metal where he worked in the shipping dept. He enjoyed bowling and playing cards, but most of all spending time with his family. Survived by his loving wife, Graciela; two daughters, Martha Lorena (Cleofas) Garcia and Maribel (Fidel) Herrera; one son, Rodolfo (Luz) Jaquez; eight grandchildren, Gerry Garcia, Alex Jaquez, Rudy Jr. Jaquez, Ricky Garcia, Janell Herrera, Michael Jaquez, Giovanni Garcia and Aimee Herrera; two great-grandchildren, Aiden and Landon Jaquez; five sisters, Catalina, Hilda, Hortencia, Rosalina and Enriqueta; 2 brothers, Arnoldo and Jesus (Jaime); many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rodolfo was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Teresa Jaquez; and two brothers, Arnoldo and Jaime Jaquez. The family will be receiving guests Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral Mass will begin Thursday at 9:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 722 High St., Aurora, IL 60505. Interment following at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
