Stanley Andersen

Stanley Andersen left this world on April 1, 2024. He was born to Harvey and Wilma Andersen in Omaha, Nebraska. He married Sandra G. Race on December 16,1972 at the First Baptist Church of Aurora. They were happily married until Sandra’s passing in 2008. Stanley would miss her greatly but found love again when he married Maribelle Neal in 2013. Stanley was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was always happy to tell stories from his time stationed in Korea. Stanley worked for Caterpillar for over 35 years before retiring in 2008. Stanley was a great father who spent countless hours attending Jeremy’s baseball games, choir concerts, band concerts and other activities. He was always willing to shoot some hoops, play pickleball in the driveway, or just sit outside and watch people. Stanley never met a person he didn’t talk to. He would always get to know people, much to Jeremy’s embarrassment, when that person was in line at the grocery store or just passing by the house. Stanley leaves behind his wife Maribelle, his sister Barbara (Jim) Kiehl, son Jeremy (Charity), and his 4 grandchildren, Dylan, Donovan, Devin, and Delilah as well as three nieces. Family will be receiving guests Friday April 12, 2024 from 10am until time of service at 1pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway in Montgomery.
