Travis R Golz

Travis R. Golz, 29, of Montgomery, passed away on Thursday morning, July 20th, 2017 at his home. Travis and his twin brother Tyler were born in Aurora on October 12th, 1987, the same day their Father was born on Oct. 12th 1961 Columbus Day. Travis Graduated from Oswego High School and went on to Waubonsee Community College for Culinary Arts and Business.

Travis was full of energy and lived life to the fullest! He was a musician, artist, comedian, and stuntman. He brought joy and comedy to everyone in his presence. Travis and his brothers Tyler & Parker were commissioned to design skate parks for the Oswego school districts. Travis was loved by everyone who knew him and he’d give the shirt off his back to help anyone.

His family members include; his mother and father Annette Fermazin-Golz; and Steven Golz; twin brother Tyler Golz (Fiancé́ Megan Stimac), youngest brother LCPL. Parker Golz; and sister Dana Golz. Travis' Grandparents are Joyce Golz of Montgomery IL. And Norm & Candy Fermazin of Sandwich IL. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and as he would say...A crap ton-o-friends!

The family will greet guests on Friday, July 28th from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, July 29th at 10:00 AM at Dieterle Memorial Home. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora, IL. Immediately following the interment there will be a reception celebrating his life at the funeral home.
