Velda “Joan” Meadows, 78, of Aurora, passed away November 28, 2017 at her home of 40 years with her loving husband by her side. She was born October 2, 1939 in Chicago, IL, daughter of Theodore and Mary (Silvey). She was married February 12, 1967 to her loving husband Bob in Chicago. She was a homemaker dedicated to taking care of the house and her 3 children. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Bob; 2 sons, Richard (Shawna) Ferrell, Charles (Kelley) Ferrell; and 1 daughter, Sheri (Jim) Gillum. Joan is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Jackie (Frank) Barnett. Family has requested services to be private. Entombment - River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia, IL.
