William "Billy" Howard Brown Jr. passed away on April 16, 2024, in Chicago, Illinois, at the age of 50. He was born on October 20, 1973, in Aurora, Illinois. Billy, as he was known, was a vibrant individual with a unique personality. He had brought happiness into so many peoples lives and was often known as the life of the party.
Billy found pleasure in the simple things in life, whether it was reading a historical book by the creek or supporting his favorite team, the Chicago Bears. A proud veteran, he dedicated much of his time to assisting his fellow servicemen and took immense pride in his country.
He is survived by his daughter, Hailey Brown, uncle Ted Brown, sisters Shirley Shepherd Sullybrook, Melissa Shepherd, and Rebecca Shepherd. Billy was a beloved uncle to Brandyn, Brianna, Bryan, Brooklyn, Bryler, and Carissa. He is now reunited in heaven with his father, William Brown Sr., his mother, Adelia Nelson, and his grandmother, Emma Brown.
A celebration of Billy's life will be held on May 4th, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 12:00 am at the Montgomery VFW located at 121 N River St, Montgomery, IL 60538. It will be a time to honor and remember a man who touched the lives of many with his infectious spirit and warm heart.
