Ada Anita McKinsey, 86 of Montgomery, passed away Tuesday June 28, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born October 12, 1935 in Vienna, IL, daughter of Cleatis and Opal (Richardson) Alsip. Anita was first employed at The Vendo Company assembling vending machines. Following her time at Vendo, she was employed at Fermilab at a Lab Technician for 10 years and ending her career at Old Post School working in the Cafeteria for over 2 years. She enjoyed reading, drawing, painting but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Anita is survived by 4 daughters; Sherri (Chris) Smith, Teresa (Dave) Swanson, Brenda (Doug) Poker and Linda Keating. 3 brothers; Dennis (the late Linda) Alsip, Stephen (Kathy) Sr. Alsip, Gary (the late Julie), and 4 sisters; Janice (the late Chuck) Armstrong, Barb (Joe) Zakosek, Frances (Dale) Perdelwitz and Cathy (the late Larry) Anderson. 11 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Anita is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 45 years Thomas and 2 sisters; Maxine (the late Benny) Shaw and Geraldine Alsip. A visitation for Anita and her husband Tom will take place Thursday August 25, 2022 from 6pm until time of celebration of life at 7pm at Harvest New Beginnings Church, 5315 Douglas Road in Oswego.
