Aiden Elliot Salinas

Aiden Elliot Salinas, 25, of Belvidere, IL passed away on May 29, 2022. He was born on October 15th 1996 to Leticia Rubio and Gerardo Salinas Jr. He had two brothers, Gerardo A. Salinas and Daniel Rubio.  Aiden was a positive spirit with a great sense of humor and will be dearly missed by his family. The center of the party, Aiden never missed the opportunity to hug, kiss, and spread love to everyone around him. Aiden loved animals, owning a lizard and two dogs of his own, Charles and Cooper. He loved to explore, hike in new places, art, and tattoos. He was obsessed with coffee and loved photography and drinking White Claws. Aiden was a prominent and supportive member in his local LGBTQ community. He will be dearly missed by his large circle of friends who cherished him as much as he did them. We Love you Aiden.

Aiden is survived by his parents, Leticia (Tomas) Salinas; brothers, Gerardo Salinas and Daniel Rubio; aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gerardo Salinas Jr.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 1:00 PM at St. Rita of Cascia Catholic Church, 750 Old Indian Trail, Aurora, IL 60506. Family will be receiving guests on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S Broadway Ave, Montgomery, IL 60538. Interment private.
