Albert D. Stuber, 87, passed away Friday July 16, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 9, 1934 in Aurora, IL, son of Raymond and Charlotte Stuber. Albert proudly served in the United States Marines during the Korean Conflict; first as a firefighter and then joining the ranks of the Military Police. Most notably he served the community of North Aurora as Police Officer for 21 years, retiring in 1984. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, making jewelry, gardening and spending the winter in Texas with his wife Janice. Albert is survived by his wife of 39 years, Janice, 3 sons; Danny, Carl (Nancy), Philip (Patricia) Harper, 4 daughters; Lynda (Mark) Alsobrook, Deanna (Steven) Seiler, Beth Carlson and Janel (Charles) Betsinger. 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Joyce, 4 sons, Jeffery Harper, Timothy Harper, Steven Harper, and Jay Harper, a sister, Charlotte (the late Robert) Andresen, a half brother, Charles (the late Rose and the late Akiko) Nelson, half sister, Verna Copp and a grandson, Jeremy Stuber. Family will be receiving guests Wednesday July 21, 2021 from 3pm to 7pm at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery.
