Alberto Zepeda

Alberto Tomas “Tiny” Zepeda, 27, of Aurora passed away suddenly due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on January 11, 2019. He was born on November 11, 1991 in Aurora, IL the son of Tomas F. and Rosa (Contreras) Zepeda. Alberto was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle and friend but his greatest joy was being a father. He worked hard throughout his life to provide for his family. He loved the outdoors and especially loved the beach. It was his nature to be a protector and he had a heart that was bigger than life. He will be deeply missed and his legacy will live on forever.

He is survived by his beloved wife Rubi, his children, Alberto Jr., and A’vangeline Zepeda; parents, Tomas and Rosa Zepeda; in laws, Cle and Angela Williams; paternal grandmother, Guadalupe Flores; siblings, Diana (William) Wiesner-Zepeda, Imelda (Oscar) Rodriguez, Veronica Zepeda, Jose (Jessica) Zepeda, Rosa (Francisco) Moreno and Monica Wade, and Martin, Guadalupe and Maria Zepeda; sisters-in-law, Ka’lea and Kelise Williams; brother-in-law Caleb; dear friends, Alex Medina, Michael Velazquez and Chief and grandmother-in-law, Loretta Hilliard. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Emelia Contreras, grandmother-in-law Evang. Willie Chaney Lyles, brother-in-law Roben Wade, good friend Boricua and cousin, Alvaro Vazquez.

Family will be receiving guests on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral will be on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Dieterle Memorial Home. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Montgomery, IL.
