Alfonso Garcia

Alfonso “El Buenero” Garcia, 54, of Aurora passed away surrounded by his family on October 18, 2018. He was born on September 19, 1964 in Zamora, Mexico the son of Antonio and Teresa (Bejar) Garcia. Alfonso graduated from East Aurora High School. He had a passion for soccer, bike riding and he loved music. He enjoyed concerts and all genres and often referred to himself as a rocker.

He is survived by his wife Leticia of 31 years, children; Nora Aleman, Cristina Garcia, and Alfonso Garcia, Jr.; grandchildren, Adrian, Isaiah and Jyliene Aleman ; mother, Teresa Garcia; siblings, Ana Garcia, Antonio (Patricia) Garcia, and Carlos (Lupe) Garcia; and mother-in-law Ninfa Moreno. He is also survived by special nephews Alex and Martin Garcia as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and countless friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Ana Paz and Joaquin Bejar and father-in-law, Guadalupe Aleman.

Family will be receiving guests on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a liturgical wake service at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Interment will be private.
