Tribute

Alicia Ibarra, 65 of Aurora, passed away Tuesday March 16, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born August 19, 1955 in CD, Juarez, Mexico; daughter of Enrique and Socorro (Almanza) Gomez. Alicia was employed an assembly technician for System Sensor Company for over 25 years. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with family and friends, and enjoyed making everyone laugh. Alicia is survived by her husband of 47 years, Juan Ibarra; 3 daughters, Beatriz (Eliezer) Rodriguez, Veronica (Jorge Cervantes) and  Celia Flores (Thomas Centano); 1 son, Jaime (Anastacia) Ibarra; 9 grandchildren, Eliel, Jasmine, Omar, Alicia, Nicolette, Aniela, Daniel, Isaiah and Jenah and 2 great grandchildren, Mia and Anastasia. Alicia is also survived by 4 sisters; Olivia (Jose), Luz (Baldo), Lupe, and Laura and 1 brother, Jaime (Esperanza). She will be dearly missed by many dear relatives and friends.  Alicia is preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter, Denise Ponce.  Family will be receiving guests Friday, March 26, 2021 from 3pm to 7pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 27, 2021  at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 308 High Street, Aurora. Burial will take place at Spring Lake Cemetery in Aurora.
