Amalia Hernandez Giron

 Amalia Hernandez Giron, passed away Wednesday  May 17, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 10, 1962 in Mexico; daughter of Maria Giron and stepfather Jose Manuel Rodriguez. Amalia was a homemaker, and a fantastic cook. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and she will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her. Amalia is survived by her husband of 41 years, Rafael, 2 daughters; Jessica Hernandez (Audiel Gonzalez), Ana Maria, 2 sons; Rafael Jr. and Jonathan. 5 grandchildren; Damian, Adan, Sofia, Angelica and Isabel and many siblings, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Family will be receiving guests Thursday May 25, 2023 from 3 pm to 7pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway in Montgomery.  Funeral mass will be Friday May 26, 2023 at 10am at St. Nicholas Catholic Church 308 High Street in Aurora. Burial will take place at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Aurora.
