Angela Testone

Angela Testone, 98, of Aurora passed away on December 31, 2018. She was born in Italy on March 12, 1920 the daughter of Angelo and Maria (Riccardi) Raimondi. She immigrated to the United States with her 4 children on February 15, 1961. She did not speak any English and went straight to work as a seamstress for R&M Kaufmann where she remained for the next 20 years. She had a passion for both vegetable and flower gardening and was known for her green thumb. She was an amazing cook and inspired her family to cook as well. She will always be remembered as a true mentor to her children who lead with courage and dignity. Angela touched the lives of everyone she met and she will be deeply missed by all.

She is survived by her children, Gino (Joan) Testone, Angelo Testone, Vince (Carol) Testone, and Anna Maria (Jim Blanche) Testone; grandchildren, Kristy, Tina, Christopher, Michael, Nick, Rachel and Andrea, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank and 6 siblings. Family will be receiving guests on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Montgomery, IL.
