Anton "Tony" Reinbold

Anton “Tony” Reinbold, 81, of Aurora, IL passed away on March 8, 2023. He was born on September 14, 1941 in Strasburg, ND the son of John and Cecilia (Unser) Reinbold. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army. He then went on to work for the Burlington Northern Railroad and retired in 2002 after many years of dedicated service. He was a longtime, active parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was devout in his faith and attended mass daily. He devoted his life to his family. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren in their respective sports and always loved dining out. He will be deeply missed by all.

He is survived by his children; Tim (Melissa) Reinbold, David Reinbold, and Laura (Dan) Wiegel; grandchildren, Sophie, John and Cal Reinbold, Jacob Reinbold and Alexis and Courtney Wiegel; siblings, Dan (Cindy) Reinbold, Irene Herr and Donna (Ken) Schneider. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Jane and twin brothers in infancy, John and Cyril Reinbold.

Family will be receiving guests on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church 722 High Street with Rev. Jerome Leake officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Aurora, IL.
