Arleen M. Morgan

Arleen M. Morgan, 79, of Yorkville, IL, passed away on March 20, 2023.  She was born on July 4, 1943 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Harry and Patricia (Phillips) Frombach.  Arleen was an avid reader and especially enjoyed cross-stitching, but above all things, she adored her family and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly.  She will always be remembered as a caring and loving wife, mom, grandma, and great grandma who loved to have fun.  At every wedding or celebration, you could find her out on the dance floor.  In her younger days, she enjoyed going to sock hops and roller-skating at the roller rink near her childhood home.  After her children had grown, she and her husband, Mickey, called several states home throughout the years, including Missouri, Arizona, Texas, and Georgia, before returning to Illinois.  She loved cooking for and spending time with her family any chance she got.  She was generous, thoughtful, and kind-hearted and will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her children, Regina (William) Miller, Wayne Gregg, Michelle (Kelly Sedgwick) Veverka, and Robert (Khay) Morgan; grandchildren, Jennifer (Matthew) Gilles, Jaclyn (Bryan) Cain, Ryan (Laura) Veverka, Eric (Kristina) Veverka, Eddie Panzek, and Cameron, Kendall, and Callie Morgan; great-grandchildren Bennett, Addison, Nicholas, Emma, Hannah, and Benjamin. She is also survived by her siblings, Cathy (Bill) Lawson and Richard Frombach, as well as a dear friend, Roger.

She is preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, Mickey Morgan, and sisters, Lorrie Whennen and Karen Winter.

Family will be receiving guests on Sunday, March 26th, 2023, from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at 4:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave., Montgomery, IL 60538. Interment will be private.
