Arlene Truckenbrod

    Arlene R. Truckenbrod, 78, of North Aurora, IL passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at her home surrounded by the love of her family.  She was born October 15, 1939 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Arthur and Frances (Locascio) Houtsinger.  Her career was in education for 35+ years; as a teacher in Batavia and as an administrator in Elgin School District; Streamwood High School. She is survived by 2 sons, Douglas (Kelly) Truckenbrod of North Aurora, IL and Gregory Truckenbrod of Mesa, AZ;  4 grandchildren, Zachary, Taylor, Jordan and Elizabeth. 1 brother, Arthur (Chris) and 2 sisters, Judy Leith and Marlene Robbs. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Arta Mae (the late Richard) Henson and Arvey Sharpe. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway Montgomery, IL 60538.   Interment will be private.
