Ava K. Rivera

Ava K. Rivera, 54, of St. Charles passed away on January 24, 2021. She was born on April 16, 1966 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Emery and Victoria (Schwarts) Kakoczki. Ava had a passion for traveling and dancing, she enjoyed fishing, going to casinos and time spent with a family. She loved her pets dearly. Ava and her son shared a love of trying new foods. For the past 30 years she has held various positions with Kane County Government and for the past 18 years has worked for the Kane County Division of Transportation.

She is survived by her husband Rick; sons, T.J. and Mathew Hatchett and step-son Adam M. Rivera; granddaughter, Emilia Rivera; father, Emery Kakoczki, brothers, Steven, Joey, Johnny and Christopher Kakoczki and sister-in-law Beth (Bob) Zalenski. She is also survived by nephew Michael Kakoczki and a host of in-laws. She is preceded in death by her mother.

Family will be receiving guests on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538.
