Barbara Donaldson

Barbara Donaldson, 72, of Montgomery passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 13, 2018. She was born on November 30, 1945 in El Reno, Oklahoma the daughter of Clifford and Lois (Powell) Kimbro. Barb and her husband Ed had a passion for traveling and they were fortunate to meet many good friends and share many “adventures” along the way. Barb also enjoyed her gatherings with the “senior chicks”. But above all things, time spent with family and family gatherings were among her favorite. She will always be remembered for her love and devotion to her wonderful family.

She is survived by her children; Michelle (Mark) Scheller, Randi (John) Wagner, Tamara (William) Lorang and Daniel Donaldson, David Donaldson and Dennis Donaldson; grandchildren, Nick Young, Kayleigh (Joshua) Bynum, Joey Scheller, Jacob (Stephanie) Wagner, Tara Wagner, Ryan (Kristen) Olin, Shawn and Tyler Lorang, Samantha(Terry) Weber, Bradley and Nicole Donaldson, Joshua Donaldson and Reid and Collin Donaldson; and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Karen Fleming and brother, William Kimbro as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank “Ed” Donaldson; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Family will be receiving guests on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 3:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Interment will be private.

A special thank you to the hospice nurses and aides for the care and compassion that was shown to her.
