Bernice M Perry

Bernice M. Perry, 93, of Oswego passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 18, 2017.  She was born on July 28, 1924 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Frank and Theresa (Jelenich) Zlogar.  Bernice loved her children and her grandchildren dearly.  She loved flowers, reading, babies, summer, and going to the Michigan Dunes.  She was a fabulous cook, gardener, seamstress, and was a talented decorator and ceramist.  She was our matriarch and the glue that held us all together.  We are lost without her.  She is survived by her children; Karen (Leslie) Payne, Will (Patricia) Perry, Kristine (William) Anthony, and Lisa (David) Briscoe; grandchildren, Aaron (Katie) Perry, George (Melissa) Vickery, Clifford Vickery, Kelly (Kristen) Briscoe and Julia Briscoe; 2 great-grandchildren, Caralynn Perry and Cora Briscoe and sister Anne Biela. She is preceded in death by her parents.  Family will be receiving guests on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral services and interment will be private.
