Carlos G. Rico, Sr.

Carlos G. Rico, Sr., 68, of Aurora, passed away on September 5, 2018. He was born on November 5, 1949 in Chihuahua, Mexico the son of Pablo and Clementina (Garcia) Rico. Carlos was a devout Catholic and was active in various church communities. He was known for his passion and willingness to help others. He enjoyed gardening, biking and swimming but above all things his life was devoted to his family.

He is survived by his children; Maribel (John) German, Carlos Rico, Jr., Susana Rico, David (Maggie) Rico and Cynthia Rico; 9 grandchildren and former wife Dora Gutierrez. He is also survived by his siblings; Irma Rico, Mercedes Rico, Bertha Rico, Pablo (Concepcion) Rico, Jesus (Alma) Rico, Guadalupe (Rafael) Torres, Alejandro (Patricia) Rico, Jose (Leticia) Rico and Manuel (Nora) Rico as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Miguel Rico.

 A memorial Mass will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Rita of Cascia Catholic Church 750 Old Indian Trail Rd. Aurora, IL 60506. Interment will be private.
