Carmen Aran

Carmen M. Aran, 73, of Aurora, passed away August 27, 2020 at her home. She was born March 31, 1947, In Puerto Rico, daughter of Indalecio and Augustina Aran. Carmen was a teacher for 33 years; obtaining her Masters Degree from National Louis University and also her Degree in youth literature from Spain; and had the great honor of being elected Teacher of The year in 2010. She was also involved in many activities in the Church including the Woman’s group and She was the Youth Director; coordinating all youth activities and events. Carmen is survived by 1 daughter; Arlene Peralta, 3 sons; Abner Escalente, Humberto Escalante and Ishmael Escalente. 11 grandchildren; Alexis, Jasmine, Antonio, Desiree’, Josh, Anthony, Michael, Jessica, and Jaqueline. Great grandchildren; Gerado, Leland and 8 other great grandchildren. Family will be receiving guests Thursday September 3 from 10am until time of service at 1pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S.
