Caryn Pennington

Caryn M. Pennington, 53, of North Aurora, IL passed away unexpectedly on January 27, 2020. She was born on May 28, 1966 in Berwyn, IL the daughter of Robert and Marie (Zenisek) Nickla. Caryn was a domestic goddess who took great pride in raising her children. She was the neighborhood mother who opened her door to so many throughout the years. Gardening and spending time with family were among her favorite things, she especially loved her granddaughter, Sophie. She was a steadfast friend, always went above and beyond for everyone, and never expected anything in return. She will be deeply missed by each of the lives she touched.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, James Pennington; children, Nicole Beauchamp, Brendan Willis-Polerecky, Nadine Pennington; step-son Dylan Pennington; granddaughter Sophie Beauchamp; siblings, Diann (Steve) Grazulis, Denise (Ed) Screens, James Nickla, David Nickla, Marie (Bill Wynowski) Tomasello, Debbie (Michelle) Smith, and Sharon Behnke. Her mother-in-law, Charlotte Pennington, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews as well as countless friends, also survive her. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bob Nickla and father-in-law Tom Pennington.

Family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Interment will be private.
