Ceres Montoya

Ceres Montoya, 85, of Aurora, IL passed away January 1, 2022.  She was born in Nava, Coahuila, Mexico on February 22, 1936 the daughter of Rafael and Martina (Rodriguez) Hiracheta. 

She had a very strong faith and she enjoyed cooking and crocheting.

She is survived by her daughters Bertha Montoya, Maria Teresa Montoya, Maria Irma (Richard) Brummel, Marta (Juan) Cruz, Silvia (John) Cisneros, Lidia Montoya and sons Felipe Montoya, Gaspar (JoAnn Warren) Montoya, Ricardo (Margarita) Montoya, Raul (Jeanine) Montoya, Jose Luis (Maria) Montoya  and Jaime (Lisa Ocasio) Montoya.  She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, son Rafael in infancy, three brothers and one sister.

Family will be receiving guests on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral service will be Friday, January 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Dieterle Memorial. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Montgomery, IL 60538.
