Chad E. Cook

Chad Edward Cook, age 33, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Aurora. Chad was born on June 1, 1987 to Kevin Cook Sr. and Gretchen (Spies) Cook, in Carbondale, Illinois. Chad is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Delbert Dittman, and maternal great grandparents, Edward and Dorothy Sanders. Chad is survived by his parents Kevin Cook Sr. and Gretchen Cook of Aurora, IL, three brothers, Kevin Cook Jr., Matthew (Telea) Cook, Justin (Katie) Cook, two sisters, Trish Cook, Lauren (Dale) Ester, Great Aunt Judy Lyons, Grandmothers Dorothy Hill and Loretta Dittman, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, and friends.
Chad lived a fun fast paced life. Most recently Chad was training to be a manager at Suncast Corporation in Batavia, where he worked for over 2 years, and made tons of great friends who became his family. Chad loved his job and was really good at it. He worked hard for his own apartment and was so proud of all of his accomplishments. Chad loved to hang out with friends, listen to music, and make people laugh.

Family and friends and anyone whose life was impacted by Chad are invited to a memorial visitation on Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Thank you in advance for your patience as only a limited amount of guests will be allowed in the chapel at a time. Face coverings and social distancing is required.
