Charles S. Rotter, II

Charles S. Rotter II, 84, of Montgomery, IL passed away on July 18, 2021. He was born on November 24, 1936 in White Fish Bay, WI, the son of Irvin and Verna Rotter. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force. His military training lead him to a career with the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller. After retirement he went on to fulfill a dream of owning his own gym. He started Fox Valley Health Studio in Aurora. Through the years he competed in many body building competitions earning him many accolades. During that time he also graduated from Aurora University. Chuck later followed his heart which steered him down the path of ministry. He started Body of Christ Church in Montgomery, IL and touched the lives of many through his ministry. He also had a love for gardening. Chuck will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children; Renee (Rey Rodriguez) Rotter, Lisa Rotter, and Irvin Rotter; grandchildren, Katelyn and Will Pierce and Nadine Rotter. He is also survived by his niece Sharron Robinson and former wife Diane Pini.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judith Davis.

Family will be receiving guests on Monday, July 26, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 noon at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Montgomery, IL.
