Charlotte Mihalka

Charlotte Mihalka, 86, of Montgomery, IL, passed away on July 4, 2021. She was born June 23, 1935 the daughter of Hildegarde and Frank Hartman.

Charlotte was a long time employee of the East Aurora School District and was later an office manager for Boylan Sales. She enjoyed reading, spending time with friends and family by going out to eat or trying new restaurants, and gambling every now and then.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Linda) Mihalka and Steven (Carol Lazar) Mihalka; granddaughter, Alyssa Mihalka; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Mihalka; parents, Hildegarde and Frank Hartman; grandson, Nicolas Mihalka; and siblings, Maggie, Frank, and Eleanore.

A celebration of Charlotte's life will take place Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the American Luxemberger Club, 416 High Street, Aurora, IL 60505. Family and friends are more than welcome to join to share stories and laughter. Any memorials under Charlotte's name may be made out to the Mihalka family.
