Cynthia Race

Cynthia Race, 70, of Oswego, passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday August 7, 2018. She was born in Barre, Vermont on July 11, 1948, daughter of Felix and Verna (Fleck) Lynch. Cynthia “Cindae” was a very outgoing person, known for her kind and gentle soul, and her fabulous cooking and baking; always spending time cooking for others, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Cynthia is survived by her 2 sons; Rick(Nina), Chris(Jennifer) and 1 daughter Rachael(Dave) McCormick, 11 grandchildren; Carissa, Jack, Dylan, Isabella, Haley, Taylor, Jordan, Addison, Christopher, Jessica and Jacob. 2 brothers, Russell, Michael and former husband Richard Sr.  She is preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, Louis. A life celebration for Cindae will be on Saturday August 11, 2018, visitation from 9am until time of service at 1 pm at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery, IL.
