Daphne Lahey

Daphne Lahey, 73, of Montgomery, IL passed away on July 23, 2018 surrounded by family. She was born on July 5, 1945 in Wisbech Cambs, England the daughter of Thaddeus and Lillian (Phillips) Piotrowski. Daphne was a bank teller at West Suburban Bank in Aurora for 15 years retiring in 2010. She loved going to the casino and had a passion for baking Amish bread.

She is survived by her husband James Lahey, son JamesJr.(Jodie),daughter Debbi(Scott) Moritz, son-in-law Cris Vargas, grandchildren; Joshua Paisley, Shana Jarosch, Kiara Broderick, Cheyenne Moritz, Benjamin Cassata, Amber Lulow, Brian Lahey, Nathan Lahey and Analise McCormick; great-grandchildren, Elliana and Colt Jarosch, Jayden Paisley, Anthony Lulow and Kyle and Savannah McCormick. She is also survived by her siblings, Thomas (Vickie) Piotrowski, Tony (Tracy) Piotrowski and Patricia (John) Lahti.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Thaddeus Piotrowski, II.

Family will be receiving guests on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral will be on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Dieterle Memorial Home with interment following at Riverside Cemetery, Montgomery, IL.
