DeEtta Clark

DeEtta J. Clark, 85 of Oswego, passed away at her home Saturday December 22, 2018. She was born May 25, 1933, daughter of Joseph and Eleanor (Gerlach) Miers. DeEtta was a homemaker, but did have various jobs during her lifetime.  She enjoyed gardening, sewing, taking her beloved dog “Scruffy” on long walks, but most of all spending time with her very large family.  De Etta is survived by 5 daughters, Cherri (Steve) Distler, Vickie Rose, Patti (Andrew) Paige, Pam (Mark) Brooks and Debbie (Mike) Losito. 1 brother, Allen Miers and 1 sister Donna Miers Frazer. 11 grandchildren, Heather (Craig) Muzzey, Trever (Hijee) Shick, Whitney Durham, Michael (Christine) Brickert, Jennifer (Mark) Hernandez, Drew Paige, Staci Paige, Tyler Brooks, Dylan Brooks, Michael (Christina) Losito and Tony (Rose) Losito. 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Many nieces, nephews and other relatives.  She is preceded in death by her parents, and a sister-in-law, Carrie Miers. A celebration of De Etta’s life will be held Saturday December 29, 2018, 1:00 pm, at Valley Baptist, 2480 Wolf Rd, Oswego, 630 -554-8109.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Association Appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to Dieterle Memorial Home, 630-897-1196
