Dena Gebauer

Dena J. Gebauer, 86, of Aurora, passed away Saturday September 8, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center.  She was born February 13, 1932 in Aurora, IL, Daughter of Theodore B. Sr. and Marie (Songer) Clauser . Dena was a longtime member of Park Place Baptist Church in Montgomery, She worked at Eastside Aurora School District (Waldo) for several years , and in her 20 + years working at Lowe & Steinmetz, she obtained her Paralegal Certificate .  She enjoyed reading, knitting and sewing; early on making her own clothes, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.  She is survived by 4 sons, Tom Thomas (Debra), Lester D. (Mary Ann), Charles (Cindy), Gary (Janice), 1 daughter, Janette Galey (Tom Juline), 15 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 1 brother Theodore Jr. (Linda).  Dena is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lester Jr., 1 brother, Robert Clauser and 1 sister, Ellanor Hauser.  Family will be receiving guests Thursday September 13, 2018 from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S.
