Domingo Chapa

Domingo Chapa, 78, of Aurora passed away surrounded by his family on October 7, 2017. He was born in Mexico on September 17, 1939 the son of Fermin and Gabriela (Sanchez) Chapa. He was a simple man and enjoyed the small things in life like trips to Wal-Mart, coffee and pizza. He especially enjoyed his time spent with family and loved his grandchildren dearly.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Elodia; children, Aracely Acevedo, Olga Barrientos, Domingo Chapa, Jr., Guadalupe (Armando) Rojo, Fermin (Maria) Chapa, Gabriela (Martin) Gonzalez, Jesus Chapa, Yesenia (Alberto) Fernandez, Edwin Chapa, and Veronica (Jose) Vargas, 34 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and 2 brothers Juan and Benjamin Chapa.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Family will be receiving guests on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Montgomery, IL.
