Edward Josupait

Edward George Josupait (62) was called home on Monday May 11th, 2020 at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Il. Ed was born on February 6th, 1958 to George and Lydia Josupait in the city of Chicago. Edward was the eldest of four children:  Ray (Peggy) Josupait, Ken Josupait, and Mark (Samantha) Josupait. Edward married his beloved wife Sofia (Ramos) Josupait May 5th, 1990. They recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary together alongside family and friends. Edward wore many hats, but his favorite was “Dad”. Edward leaves behind 4 children; Jason (Christy) Josupait, Michael (Haley) Josupait, Krystal (Antonio) Josupait and David Josupait. Edward also cherished his role as “Grandpa Ed” to his five beautiful grandchildren; Logan, Bryce, Addison, Jax and Hazel.  Edward was a Proud Veteran who loved to share his stories of the six years he spent as a MP in the US Army. Edward enjoyed the simple things in life like sitting in his garage, going fishing, working on cars and attending family parties. Edward is preceded in death by his father, George, and his brother Ken.  All who knew Ed loved him.  His contagious spirit will be missed and cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Due to the Pandemic the family has chosen to Celebrate Edward’s life privately
