Eileen Bridget Roscoe

Eileen Bridget (Murphy) Roscoe, 68, passed away in her home in Aurora, IL, on October 5, 2017, following a brief battle with ovarian cancer.  Eileen was born on July 16, 1949, in Aurora, IL to Francis Patrick and Irene (Seidelman) Murphy. She attended St. Therese Elementary School and graduated from Madonna High in Aurora.  She married Ralph “Bill” Roscoe and moved to Oswego, where they raised their two sons. Eileen worked for NPC Freight Services for many years. She enjoyed camping, drawing, spending time with friends and family, and caring for animals, which included her four cats. She was also a member of the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary. Eileen is survived by her sons Todd (Jackie) Roscoe of Havre, MT, and Craig (Lizzie) Roscoe of Villa Park, IL; her grandchildren Brittney Ford, Dylan Roscoe, Grace Roscoe and Hayden Roscoe; great-grandchildren Ethan Roscoe and Noah Love; her sisters Pat (Jim) McEvoy of St. Charles, MO, and Cathi (Hap Collins) Carpenter of Montgomery, IL; her longtime, devoted boyfriend Terry Schiltz of Aurora; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.  Per her wishes, there will be a Memorial Service held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 13, 2017  at AMVETS Post #103, 1194 Jericho Road Aurora, IL.
