Elaine (Hansen) Rost

Elaine M. Rost, 77, of Aurora passed away on January 13, 2019. She was born on December 27, 1941 in Aurora, IL the daughter of William and Anna (Collins) Hansen. She was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aurora. She worked for the Secretary of State as a clerk at the DMV for 17 years. Elaine loved playing cards and especially loved her time spent with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters; Leanne (the late James) Okapal, Sr., Marilee Rost and Marcie Rost; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and siblings, Dale and Arnold Hansen and Sharon Waide. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Rost and daughter Holly Rost.

Family will be receiving guests on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church 85 S. Constitution Drive, Aurora, IL. Interment will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Montgomery, IL.
