Eugene L. Mason

Eugene L. Mason, 96, of Aurora, IL passed away on September 28, 2023. He was born on July 16, 1927 in Aurora, IL the son of Frank and Ruth (Albright) Mason. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy during WWII. In 1991 Eugene retired from Olsson Roofing after many years of dedicated service. He loved to tinker with old cars and above things he loved time spent with family. He will be dearly missed by all.

He is survived by his son Gary Mason; grandchildren, Tom (Renee) Mason, April (Jeff) Tolomei, Larry Jr. (Tracy) Mason, Scott (Rhonda) Mason, Adam Mason, Matt (Amy) Mason, and Jenny Mack; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Ron (Sandy) Mason and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Marion; son Larry Sr., and daughters-in-law Ann and Cathy Mason.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Riverside Cemetery, 414 Ni River Rd. Montgomery, IL 60538.
